This reinterpretation elevates the gourmand notes of Bal d’Afrique to an even more irresistible level, centred around a heart of sweet praline. Bergamot, lemon and blackcurrant lend a bold liveliness, which melts into praline, soft musks and violet. A woody accord of cedar and vetiver adds depth and character to the base, whilst warm black amber prolongs the praline’s gourmand thrust right through to the final nuances of the sillage.

L’Absolu de Parfum is housed in a redesigned bottle, a tribute to artisanal craftsmanship. The textured cap, inspired by Yakisugi – the Japanese art of charring wood – reveals a silver and gold atomiser, in harmony with the minimalist design and clean lines of the glass that allow the intense colour of the fragrance to shine through.
